After an early manufacturing career in electronics and engineering, Richard Stoner worked in business and consumer service environments, holding executive directorships in several market-leading companies. He has run the operations of 3i’s business recovery unit and has co-founded a successful technology company. For the last sixteen years he has been an independent adviser to many small and medium sized businesses, and he therefore understands the special needs of privately owned companies and their investors. He describes his style as "getting things done." Richard is a graduate of Oxford University and a chartered member of the Institute of Physics. He is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, and he co-founded and is a former Council Member of the Association of High Pressure Water Jetting Contractors.
